The results from the December 2008 survey of HOD Secondary School Maths teachers in NZ have been complied. Results were very positive:
- 100% of respondents said the Lynda-Anne polynomials maths poster was a useful resource.
- The preferred poster size was A1, with some suppport for A0 and A2.
- Maths teacher comments were generally very positive. Here are a selection;
- ‘Great layout, clear questioning.’
- ‘Great display of real-life maths. Looks really great on the wall – covers a wide range of maths & matching worksheet.’
- ‘Good graphic design.’
- ‘Interesting examples of mathematics ... in a work setting.’

The win iPod's for NZ maths teachers and students competition is now in full swing. Student posts are occuring at www.mathsoul.com/discussion.
All NZ secondary school students can enter till 31 Marh 2009 - all they have to do is make a post about the answer to any one or more question on the Lynda-Anne My-Story poster, or any other Mathsoul My-Story poster. So entry is effectively accessible to all secondary student levels. Need more competition advertising flyers - let me know?
All the questions for all My-Story maths posters can be accessed here - no need to buy the posters; although students will respond better with the posters on the classroom wall. |

New My-Story Free Maths Poster. Lynda-Anne GIB Clicks and Polynomials, the thirteenth Mathsoul My-Story poster has been released, and is available free from the webshop printed in A1 size (590 x 840mm ~ 18" x 24") and laminated, free whilst stocks last. Actually for US$0.01.
These are free maths posters and free maths posters due to poster sponsorship by GIB plasterboard in New Zealand. Their staff member Lynda-Anne features in her marketing role with PPC internet advertising.
Maths coverage is extensive (algebra, statistics and calculus)meaning there is something for every grade that comes through the math classroom - decimal division, linear equations, sequences and series, curve fitting with cubic equations, logarithmic equations, power curves, and differentiation for maximisation calculus.
Early mathematics teacher feedback on this matsh poster includes "inspirational, engaging - great visually", and "attractive bright today person linked well to questions and graphs". |

Mathsoul mathematics posters launched to the New Zealand high schools, secondary schools, middle schools and home schools markets; for both NCEA maths schools and IB (International Baccalaureate) maths schools.
The initial range of Mathsoul My-Story maths posters is algebra, and tables & graphs centric. Ratio and percentages were also well covered.
Planned further maths posters additions to the range, over time, are planned, in no particular order, to cover;
